A university-oriented emergency department

The CHU is a place for knowledge, expertise and training.

The accident and emergency department actively participates in these endeavors by welcoming interns during their training periods.

Concretely, in the medical and surgical branch an intern and a medical student, supervised by a referent senior physician, help to examine a patient an establish a diagnosis.

The department is also a training site for interns in line for a D.E.S (specialized degree-awarding studies), and who will be practicing emergency medicine.
